We brought Loki home from the RSPCA this morning. Our hearts were breaking after seeing many news reports on the amount of animals being dumped after Christmas. He is so sweet and has taken to us immediately. However Týr is not very impressed and has done a lot of creeping around and hissing, poor boy, he has been the spoilt only 'child' for 6 months, so this will be a bit of an adjustment for him!
Loki, like Týr, is named after a Viking God. The Viking God of mischief, hehe hope he doesn't live up to the name too much!

Oh he's wonderful Jessy! Thankyou so much for adopting!! We are having a lot of trouble here with it being after Christmas, puppy and kitten season, and the floods! They all add up to so much sadness. But the ones that are adopted are heartwarming to see!!
oh my gosh, he is such a cute kitty! Congratulations on your new family addition. My little kitty is always getting hissed at by an older cat that lives above us, she just wants to be friends.

I have two cats and fostered one last year, there was a lot of hissing going on for about a week then they all became the best of friends.

That face!!!! Awwww :) It look a bit of time for our cats to get adjusted to each other. They still hiss almost daily, but I think, secretly, they're quite fond of each other.
ARGH! ADORABLE! I hope Tyr comes around because the two of them in one photo may make me break into a fit of drooling and swooning. That and it's always nice when pets get along :)

awh congrats on your new friend :) I work at an animal shelter and it's tough to see a lot of fluffy "gifts" returned and people giving them up for "financial reasons" adopting is one of the best things you can do!! :D
